The scene opens with a couple getting married this is then followed with some people screaming and shouting from the women's family and then the contrast of the man's side of the family this is part of the comedy expected to be seen in animated films also this is stereotypical of a comedy drama as it is a serious occasion made lighter from a comedic element. we then cut to a long shot of the married couple walking into a derelict worn down house, the comedic element is continued in this scene as the wife starts cutting wood in her wedding dress. we then see a cut of the couple as a couple doing things together like picnicking looking at the clouds and working together this is a happy moment in the film as it accompanied by up beat positive music, this montage of different together activities makes the audience feel good as most people would like this type of relationship or love to see others who are happy. we then see the couple looking at the cloud and wondering about baby's then we see them decorating a room making it into a nursery. Then there is a side swipe to the couple sitting in a doctors office with the women crying and a doctor explaining something to them. This is also solidified as a sad scene as the music changes from a upbeat positive tone to the same beat with duller lower tones and slower, this is the first dramatic scene that doesn't have a positive twist on it. We then cut to the women sitting outside looking very upset and her husband looking at her from inside looking troubled also. He then goes out to the women gives her a book which makes her feel better, this is then when the sound changes and there is a montage of uplifting moments in the couples life reverting back to the women tying up many different ties for her husband. This also includes a money saving scene but it being broke into repeatedly they then are going up the hill as the elderly man earlier had bought a ticket to south america a place before mentioned as somewhere they want to go. This is when things again take a turn for the worst as the women stumbles, this then cuts to her in a hospital bed handing the book that her husband gave her to get her mind off her first troubles. then we see the man at her funeral this is the perfect example of dramatic effect on the viewer as they now feel both empathetic and pitiful for the character as he lost his husband. This then fades into black creating a sad feeling for the whole audience.
