MOOD BOARD

This is some of the props we will use in the filming of the film, the camp fire is where everyone will be at the start and the last person will end up this is a key part as many people would think this would be a safe place for the characters as it lite up. Kai Bingham is the murderer therefore he will use the knife and mask to hide his identity this is another stereotype of horror films, the masked murderer. Hoodies are typical clothes of teenagers and in horrors teens are usually very stereotypical and a typical grey hoodie are cheap . The knife is a typical weapon used in horror films and is easily accessed as many of us leave two minutes away from the woods where we filmed therefore it was easy to get to the woods with it. Woods are used in some horror films as they can be scary and they have the stereotypical feel in an horror films of be inescapable and the murderer can hide in the shadows.

Ashtead woods: We chose Ashtead woods as it conforms to the main stereotypes in the horror genre of it being dark a place where a character could easily get lost and where the villain can hide away,  and also people will also be able to sympathies with the main characters if they get lost in a dense forest as everyone has been lost once in their life therefore this can bring back  memories of that time or could just remind them of that time creating a more included feel as they could have been in that same or a similar situation. 
Another reason why we chose Ashtead woods is it easy to get to for our whole group as it is just a 20 minute walk from our school and it is very close to most of the groups houses.

The villains mask--> this mask was used as it was found to be the scariest and one of the only ones we had. As one of the people had this mask it made it very cheap and easy to access as they could bring it out whenever. 

This is the main type of clothing we will use as it is very stereotypical of teenagers wear and it can also be easily accessed as we all have similar sort of clothes it could be possible that different characters wear different types of hoddies or jackets as it will add to the depth of the character.

 Fake Blood:

• This will be used  to cover the blood soaked hoodie
• There will be a fake knife so it will need fake blood

Fake Knife:

• This will be the murder weapon it is needed 
• It will be covered in fake blood 

Camp Fire:

• The group will be sitting around a campfire

Beer:

• This is what will be being drunk at the park by the campfire 

Food:

• This will be the food we will use 

target audience of my film

My typical target audience will 15 to 25 year old people 60/40 men in favor this will show how the film can be balanced and also using characters that are relatable. this is why horror films certificate is usually 15 or 18 certificate. this age group are interested in horror films as they want to be scared they want the adrenaline rush during the film. the film. by using the setting of the woods or park then the audience will see this as relatable  as they are seen to hang out there also therefore creating extra suspense for them.
