Ideas for my film

Main ideas:

• the genre is horror film 
• We will use the stereotypical story arc of people being chased by one killer
• be set in a woods it will be set in the woods to make the audience feel that even though they know the characters are outside there is no escape 

My ideas:

• we should use darker lighting to create a scarier feel 
• Also close ups and extreme close ups of peoples faces and parts of their face to emphasis the emotions they are feeling at that certain parts of the film 
• Over the shoulder shot (over the shoulder of the killer) this is to make the audience witness the chase from the killers point of view  
• Also we could use different focuses to show who is prevalent in the shot (it will mainly be the killer)

Character types:

• killer: Matty Folkes( a very disturbed and crazy killer)
• surviving victim 1: Will Smith (very vulnerable yet somehow survives)
• surviving victim 2: Michael Chara (very protective of Will Smith 
• Victim of murderer 1: Tom C  (saves everyone by dying) 
• Victim of murderer 2: Kai Bingham (dies maybe too easily) 

Sound:

• Bones cracking 
• deep breathing 
•
